A catastrophic season: Nulldrei don't win a single game after the 15th match. Trainer Andreev loses his job. At the end of the season, Babelsberg are far adrift at the bottom of the table
2002/03
The descent continues. The debts accrued over the preceding season lead to insolvency, causing NullDrei's relegation. Three trainers are hired and fired. Many players also depart, causing the team to suffer on the pitch as well as off it
2003/04
The most important development is Nulldrei's financial recovery. The first team is also surprisingly strong, leading the table in autumn and throughout the season is the main rival of the eventual champions, Hertha BSC (A).

2004/05

The team's financial status is secure once more. In the Oberliga, the team finishes third behind MSV Neuruppin and Hansa Rostock (Am.). At the end of the season Babelsberg 03 and the trainer Peter Ränke part company.

2005/06

With the new management team of Rastislav Hodul and René Tretschok, SVB retains third spot in the league behind the favourites 1. FC Union Berlin and MSV Neuruppin. Highlight of the season is the 3:2 home victory over fierce rivals 1. FC Union. With victory over MSV Neuruppin in the Landespokal, the team qualifies for the first round proper of the DFB-Pokal.

2006/07

The goal for the season is promotion to the Regionalliga. The coaching team of Rastislav Hodul and René Tretschok are still in control. The team is strengthened with numerous new arrivals and performs marvellously in the first half of the season, suffering only one defeat and one draw. In the first round of the Pokal, Hansa Rostock (later to be promoted to the 1. Bundesliga) are beaten 2-1 at the Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion. In the second round, the eventual champions of Germany, VfB Stuttgart, have to dig deep to see Nulldrei off with a final scoreline of 4:2. The second half of the season is not as spectacular, however promotion to the Regionalliga is secured ahead of Hansa Rostock II. The season is nicely rounded off with a victory over Ludwigsfelder FC in the Regional Cup.

2007/08

SVB 03 starts the season with their young squad hoping to qualify for next season's 3.Bundesliga. The goal is tenth place, according to trainer Rastislav Hodul.
